Sunshine Coast Adventures

Posted May 18 2012

The dirty-jane.com crew recently loaded up our Turner bikes and headed over to British Columbia's Sunshine Coast for a long weekend of camping and riding. It's OK if you've never heard of the Sunshine Coast, but if you've ever seen any of the amazing riding video's put out by the Coastal Crew, then you've seen the Sunshine Coast. After the short ferry ride we hustled over to the Off The Edge bike shop for a trail map and some riding recommendations, and they were very helpful and friendly. We camped at Porpoise Bay Campground which we can't say enough about- nice camp sites, hot showers, 1 minute walk to the beach, and trails you can ride to. How is the riding there you ask? Well, if you like your singletrack rooty, fast, flowy and fun, then you'll love riding on the Sunshine Coast. If you happen to be in the Pacific Northwest, then hop on the ferry and check it out, you won't regret it!
